1st Online Workshop | 27 February 2024

The agenda for the first online workshop was to review the objectives and identify the milestones of the project. Team members were assigned clear roles based on their expertise and established a detailed timeline for each phase. Further discussion included mapping the key activities throughout the project, such as conducting thorough research and benchmarking existing TNE initiatives, engaging key stakeholders through workshops in Egypt and the UK, defining program requirements through a framework, and developing a robust curriculum model. The agenda also covered planning for dissemination activities, including developing a digital platform.

2nd Online Workshop | 29 April 2024

The second workshop reviewed the preliminary findings of the literature review and benchmarking process extracted through bibliometric analysis. Key discussions included examining detailed activities under each phase. The workshop resulted in identifying the critical components of TNE programs, including transnational education models, as well as the benefits and challenges of TNE for students and institutions. Team members emphasised the importance of aligning the benchmarking activity with global education standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and understanding financial implications.
